I have a bad habit of not charging my ps4 controllers when not in use but I found a simple solution !
This charging dock station made by Beboncool is a life saver ! Not only can I charge 2 of my ps4 controllers, but i’m able to display them in my set up. The unit itself is quite simple, you get the dock station and a micro usb cable. You can charge this via your computer, a charging block or your ps4. Ideally pairing it up with your ps4 is a must, it does work while in rest mode. This device has 2 led colors that help you view the status. Green controller means its on standby mode/controller is fully charged, Red controller means the controller is charging. Charging time seemed pretty accurate when I was charging my fully dead ps4 controller to 100, roughly took about 2.5 hours.
Something to keep in mind is that it seems to have some minor defects. Not sure if it was the unit I was reviewing, but I’ve noticed that sometimes it would turn off while plugged into the playstation 4 in rest mode. Something else that I noticed is that at times the docking station would have the Red controller led on, signifying the controller is charging, even tho its past the2.5 hour charge time. Also it does require your to use both hands to remove your controller, BUT a solution I found was to use command strips or mounting tape to help it hold in place. This is required but would help keep the docking station in place and enable you to pick up your controllers with 1 hand.
Overall, I think its a good way to charge your controllers and keep them all in one place !
